Philosophy – Key to the fund’s investment philosophy is our fundamental belief that capital preservation is as important to investment success as capital appreciation. The fund’s value-focused investment style emphasizes absolute returns over relative returns, and aims to limit market risk through careful stock selection.

Process – Bottom-up fundamental analysis is at the core of our investment decisions for the fund. We follow a disciplined process that is aimed at uncovering the hidden value in the small- and mid-cap markets.

Portfolio managers – As the fund’s managers, we have managed money as a team since 1980. The fund’s portfolio management team includes J. Dennis Delafield, CFA and Vincent Sellecchia, CFA. Together, we have a combined 80-plus years investment experience.

The goal – to provide our shareholders with the kind of disciplined, institutional investment approach that is most closely associated with high-net-worth investors.
